Tier on Tier Shutters
Plantation shutters can be styled in many ways but normally Plantation shutters fall into four main styles. Cafe style shutters, Full height shutters, Tier on Tier shutters and Solid panel shutters. These styles are a just a guide and it’s possible to mix and match styles within one room or home if required.
Tier on Tier Style Plantation Shutters
Tier on Tier Plantation shutters are the most versatile shutter style to have. This is where you basically have two sets of shutters one above the other as seen in the photo on the right.
The top and the bottom set of shutters in the Tier on Tier style operate independently of each other giving great flexibility. You can have the top open and the bottom closed and vise versa, or you can keep them both closed and just open the louvre’s on the top set, and so on.
With the flexibility offered Tier on Tier shutters gives you an even greater light control over your windows. This is a truly classic style that allows you to set the look of your shutters to suit your mood.
Tier on Tier Plantation Shutters are available in both real wood, Basswood and Pearlwood or MDF and with a choice of louvre, solid or solid bottom louvre top panels. In the louvre style you have three louvre sizes 47mm, 64mm, and 89mm with standard tilt mechanism or hidden tilt mechanism. In the solid panels you have the raised, the moulded and the shaker style panels. As mentioned earlier all styles can me mixed and matched to achieve the perfect look for not just the windows but your home.
