From wide patio doors to bedroom windows, a useful shutter design starts with how the opening is used. We offer home consultations in Swindon to compare materials and plan shutters around window handles, door movement and furniture.
For a large opening, the position of the panels when open is as important as their appearance when closed. Tracked shutters may be suitable for patio doors, with the layout planned around access and the space where panels gather. We check these details before recommending a design.

Timing and aftercare
Our faster Composite option can usually be installed in around four weeks. Hardwood and Hardwood ABS usually take 10–11 weeks; Premium Hardwood and our alternative Composite option usually take 10–12 weeks. These are typical timings, not guaranteed dates; we confirm the current expectation for your order.
Hardwood shutters have a five-year warranty; Hardwood ABS and Composite shutters have a ten-year warranty. Blackout blinds have a separate two-year warranty. Covered repairs include labour and travel, subject to the warranty terms.

Can I keep daylight while adding privacy at the lower window?
Café-style shutters cover the lower part of the opening and leave the upper glass uncovered. Full-height shutters with split louvre control offer another way to adjust the upper and lower sections differently. We check the sightlines before recommending either option.
A Swindon installation
Our earlier Swindon project used tracked shutters for a bedroom patio-door opening. It illustrates panel movement and stacking; current materials and delivery estimates are confirmed for each new quotation.
