Custom-fitted door shutters in West London

A shutter fitted directly to the door

The inward-opening door made the layout more challenging. A window covering needed to work around its movement and leave the handle accessible, while complementing the windows on either side.

Our solution was to mount the shutter onto the door itself, so it moves with the door when opened. A bespoke cutout around the handle leaves room to reach and operate it.

A coordinated design for the whole bay

Pure White Composite shutters with 64mm Clear View louvres give the door and adjoining windows a consistent finish. The cutout allows the shutter to cover the glazed section while accommodating the existing hardware.

Careful planning for an unusual opening

Michelle sent photographs before the consultation, helping us understand the layout ahead of the visit. We then assessed the opening in person and planned the installation around the door and surrounding windows.

An unusual opening doesn’t automatically rule out shutters—it calls for a closer look at the possible design. Door construction, hardware and clearance must be assessed individually.

The customer’s experience

Always wanted window shutters. So when I moved in to my new home. I got them. But at first I didn’t think it would happened. My bay windows have a door right in the middle.

So i thought it would be impossible. I came cross shutter master. Booked appointment and sent pictures to the company. Ryan came to have a look. what a lovely and hardworking man he is.

Well I got my shutters and I cannot be more happy than I am now.

I love them . He did a brilliant and excellent job. I highly recommend him. The prices was reasonable.

Thank you again Ryan
