Bedroom shutters can help you adjust light and privacy through the day. If stronger light reduction is a priority, we also offer compatible shutters with a blackout blind behind them. We assess the window and explain the proposed arrangement; ordinary louvred shutters alone should not be treated as a complete blackout solution.

Timing and aftercare
Our faster Composite option can usually be installed in around four weeks. Hardwood and Hardwood ABS usually take 10–11 weeks; Premium Hardwood and our alternative Composite option usually take 10–12 weeks. These are typical timings, not guaranteed dates; we confirm the current expectation for your order.
Hardwood shutters have a five-year warranty; Hardwood ABS and Composite shutters have a ten-year warranty. Blackout blinds have a separate two-year warranty. Covered repairs include labour and travel, subject to the warranty terms.

Will shutters make a bedroom completely dark?
Shutters control daylight, but some light can pass through louvres and around the frame. A compatible manual blackout blind can reduce light further. We check the size and fitting requirements and quote that option separately.
