Premium Hardwood offers a larger selection of paint and stain finishes. For an additional charge, we can also match a paint code, including colours from ranges such as Farrow & Ball. We confirm the finish and specification as part of your quotation.
Custom colour shutters
A colour-matched shutter can connect the window with the wider room scheme, while a white finish can keep the look understated. Bring your preferred paint reference to the consultation so we can discuss the options. Always use an actual sample to assess a finish; photographs and screens can change its appearance.
Delivery, installation and aftercare
Typical timing: 10–12 weeks. Manufacturing, transport and unforeseen disruption can affect delivery. We confirm the current expectation when you order and arrange fitting once the shutters are ready.
This range has a 5-year shutter warranty. Covered repairs include labour and travel. Cover is for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to a new owner. A compatible blackout blind has a separate two-year warranty.
For routine cleaning, use a slightly damp microfibre cloth and avoid bleach or strong detergents. We explain operation and care at installation and leave any product-appropriate touch-up paint or wax supplied for minor marks.

Our quick estimate covers one window and gives an initial guide, with a £450 minimum order for local installations. For properties further away, we discuss your postcode and project before confirming arrangements.
Do I need to choose the material before booking?
No. We bring samples and help you compare the ranges at home. Tell us which rooms you are considering and any preferences or questions you already have.
Can these shutters include a blackout blind?
A manual blackout option is available, subject to the opening, frame and fitting requirements. We check compatibility during the consultation and quote the additional option separately.

Are shutters expensive?
The price depends on the window size, material, panel layout and additional options. Our current guide prices start at £260/m² for Hardwood, £290/m² for Hardwood ABS, £350/m² for Premium Hardwood and £345/m² for our faster Composite option, including installation for local projects. A £450 local minimum order applies. Custom finishes, shaped openings and other specifications affect the final quotation.
How long are the warranties?
Hardwood and Premium Hardwood shutters have a five-year warranty. Hardwood ABS and Composite shutters have a ten-year warranty. Blackout blinds have a separate two-year warranty. Covered repairs include labour and travel, subject to the warranty terms. Cover applies to the original customer and cannot be transferred to a new owner. Aluminium shutters have a ten-year warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship, with repair or replacement of affected shutters at no cost for covered defects.
