Window shutters measured for your home
Shutter Master offers home shutter consultations in Oxford, working from our base near Tadley. Whether you are starting with one window or planning several rooms, we help you compare the options and provide a quotation including installation.
We are an independent shutter specialist, with thousands of installations since purchasing Shutter Master in 2010. You can explore our customer reviews and selected installation stories before arranging a visit.
Design around the whole window
For a tall window, a full-height shutter can include a mid rail or separately controlled louvre sections. A mid rail is a physical part of the panel; a louvre split allows different sections to tilt without adding the same rail. Tier-on-tier is different again, with separate upper and lower panels. Our illustrations help you compare these layouts before the survey.

What is the difference between tier-on-tier and split louvres?
Tier-on-tier has separate upper and lower panels that open independently. Split louvre control adjusts the upper and lower louvres separately within a full-height panel. We compare these arrangements against the window height and available opening space.
