A simple guide to caring for your shutters

Gentle cleaning and sensible operation help keep your shutters looking their best.

Keep cleaning gentle

Remove dust with a soft microfibre cloth. When needed, use a slightly damp microfibre cloth and dry the surface afterwards. Avoid strong detergents, particularly bleach, and do not soak the shutters.

Minor marks

Keep any supplied touch-up paint or wax for use on the product it was provided with. Contact us before treating a mark if you are unsure which product to use.

Ask before adjusting

If a louvre or panel does not move as expected, avoid forcing it or attempting an unfamiliar repair. We can advise on the next step. Work outside warranty can be quoted depending on the parts and repair required.
