Hardwood shutters in Burghfield
Mr Mortimer · Burghfield, West Berkshire
The brief
The project included a conservatory, a shallow bay in the living room and two bedroom windows. The conservatory’s pitched shape and uneven plastering made careful measurement particularly important.
Shutter specification
Hardwood · Pure White · 64mm louvres · Hidden tilt
The finished installation
The shutter design followed the conservatory opening while keeping a consistent finish across the other rooms. A shared louvre size and hidden tilt layout brought the different window shapes together.
The customer’s experience
We had a conservatory we could not use in the summer due to being too hot. The shutters now mean we can use it as a dining space all year round and our wood table is not damaged by the sun. We had a pitch roof with uneven plastering but the shutters were made to measure and look amazing
